Survival Coalition 2007-2009 Reports and Trainings

The Long Term Care System is changing. What does your future look like in the new system? The Survival Coalition is offering training sessions around the state to help you to better understand these changes. Have you heard of Family Care, Managed Care, Partnership, Self Directed Supports (SDS), Independent Consultants, Aging and Disability Resource Centers? Come to the trainings to find out what these are and much more.

Survival Coalition 2007-2009 Legislative Report The Survival Coalition of Wisconsin Disability Organizations has developed a report for the 2007-2009 Legislative Session. The report focuses on the major disability bills that were introduced in the session and what happened to each. Some of the bills that did not pass could be introduced in the next session.

The Survival Coalition of Wisconsin Disability Organizations has developed a budget paper for the 2007-2009 Biennial Budget. The paper focuses on the community as being the place for people with disabilities. It addresses six areas of concern: long term care, children with disabilities, schools, people with mental illness, access, and Medicaid. It ends with the vision and principals of Survival.
